I used to live in an apartment complex where the residents had no respect for public spaces. I’m talking about people letting their dogs do their business in the elevator. It was especially heinous in the mornings when you weren’t fully awake and you’d walk into the non-ventilated elevator only to step in a puddle of urine or a pile of dog turd. It was seriously getting out of control. So much so that the dog dumping rubbed off on one guy (or girl) who decided to take a dump (human dump) in the elevator. This was no doggy poo. It was too big for that. Either some douche bag decided to drop his/her pants and take a shit on the elevator floor, or someone let a pony relieve itself in the elevator. I took the stairs for a month after that.
